Day 10 Leaving England

It was still pouring when we left the hotel room, and the wind had caught up. We took a few tea breaks in pubs to warm our hands on the way to the Dover ferry, and set to leave England behind. I felt melancholic to leave the cute countryside stone cottages, blackberry bushes, cute dog owners and little pubs serving tea behind us. But now our adventure will become international, and I’m proud to cross the channel with my bike to get to the next country.`
